Most often, the issues you have related to the update process are due to one of the following reasons:

Cache and Optimization issues

Cache or optimizations can prevent your changes from appearing online.

Do one or more of the following to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Go to WP Admin > Elementor > Tools > Click Regenerate Files & Data. https://elementor.com/help/caching-prevents-live-site-from-showing-changes-in-editor/

2. Disable any third-party WordPress optimization or cache plugins.

3. Temporarily clear/disable any server-level caching. You may need to consult your hosting provider for help with this.

4. Clear your browser cache or test the page using incognito mode.

Incompatible WordPress version

You can't run the latest WordPress version with an old theme or plugin version. Make sure the plugins and the theme are up to date. If you doubt which one is the latest version, check the Changelog at https://vamtam.com/changelog/

Incompatible plugins

If you are running plugins that do not come and are not supported by the theme, make sure they are compatible with the WordPress version you are about to update/install. If the updates don't fix the issue you encounter, then deactivate the plugins that don't come with the theme and test.

Old plugin version

Ensure that all plugins you are updating are compatible with the theme and WordPress versions.

Complete points 2,4,5 of the Update guide.

Issues with CSS Print method

The CSS print method can affect your stylesheet.

To troubleshoot the issue:

Go to Elementor > Settings > Performance in the WP Admin and check the CSS Print Method.

If it is set to External File, set it to Internal File. If it is set to Internal File, set to External File.

Test to see if this resolves the issue.

Using FTP to update the theme

The bundled plugins cannot be updated using FTP. If you've chosen this, you must switch to automatic updates to update the plugins bundled with the theme.

Renamed theme folder

If you change the theme folder name or the content of the style.ccs file, the automatic update feature will stop functioning.
